The challenge
Morgan Oaks Eternal Preserve in Lincoln offers something most families have never heard of: a natural green burial that helps restore the oak woodland. Families needed to understand what green burial is, feel at peace with it and choose a garden, often while grieving. Meanwhile the preserve had to be found by people searching all over California.
The result
Morgan Oaks is now the #1 result for green burial in its market and shows up for families across California. The new site turns a once-unfamiliar idea into something families understand and trust, and more tours, pre-planning requests and burials have followed.

What we did.
- 01
Designed and built a calm, nature-first website that opens on aerial footage of the preserve and leads with two clear paths: Request a Tour or Explore the Five Gardens.
- 02
Gave each of the five gardens its own page, from Sunset Bridge and Bridge of Peace to Bridge to Valhalla for veterans, Bridge to Eternal Life for Jewish tradition and Rainbow Bridge for pets.
- 03
Wrote the education families need: What Is Green Burial, FAQs, a free pre-planning guide, grief support and veterans resources, all written gently and plainly.
- 04
Built offering pages for human, pet and equine burials, tree memorials and fire pit celebrations of life, plus human and pet obituaries, events, a blog, newsletter and podcast.
- 05
Added Ask Margie, a friendly AI guide that answers questions about green burial, costs and visiting any time of day.
- 06
Ran SEO and GEO with drive-time pages, schema and FAQ content so Morgan Oaks ranks #1 for green burial searches and gets recommended by AI assistants statewide.
- 07
Kept Call and Contact Form buttons pinned on mobile so families can reach the team in one tap.
The final product
The website we built
Aerial footage of the oak woodland sets the tone, then the site walks families from "what is green burial?" to choosing a garden and requesting a tour. On a phone, Call and Contact Form stay pinned to the top.

Inside the build
Built to guide families gently.
Families start on the homepage, browse all five gardens, open the one that fits and find plain-language answers along the way.
